A historic rebrand in the motor city

Detroit's largest minority-owned PR firm reinvented

Always a forward thinking company, when Van Dyke Horn Public Relations expanded their services by purchasing a media firm, they needed a new name and brand that showcased their passion in the city of Detroit.

Expansion and partnership brings new opportunity.

As new partners and teams were aligning, I built the new brand system and creative strategy framework. Logos, design, voice, typography and more were established to bring both partners together with a unified look.

A historic rebrand in the motor city

I was responsible for the rebrand's creative direction, design, photography direction, and voice and tone messaging. Taking both teams through multiple brand exercises and researching their current clients and future prospects, I built a brand that could showcase VDH as a leader in Detroit's public relations and creative fields. This project came together on a tight deadline with multiple partners and owners input. Further, I trained the pillars of the brand to internal developers, videographers, designers and social media managers so they could implement the brand further.
